1.1 Easyshelf warrants that on delivery the Goods shall:

1.1.1 conform in all material respects with their description and any applicable Specification; and

1.1.2 be free from material defects in material and workmanship.

1.2 Subject to condition 1.4, if, during the period of 24 months from the date of delivery (the "Warranty Period"):

1.2.1 the Customer gives notice in writing to Easyshelf within a reasonable time of discovery that some or all of the Goods are defective; and

1.2.2 Easyshelf is given a reasonable opportunity of examining such Goods,

Easyshelf shall, at its option and subject always to condition 1.3, repair or replace any defective parts.

1.3 The warranty in condition 1.2 shall apply to parts only and shall not cover:

1.3.1 labour save where the Customer has paid for an optional labour warranty from Easyshelf;

1.3.2 fabrication or cosmetic items not notified at the time of delivery;

1.3.3 shelves, baskets or fish trays;

1.3.4 light bulbs or tubes, gaskets; and

1.3.5 consumable items and breakables,

1.4 Easyshelf shall not be liable for the Goods' failure to comply with the warranty set out in condition 1.1 in any of the following events:

1.4.1 the Customer makes any further use of such Goods after giving notice in accordance with condition 1.2;

1.4.2 the defect arises because the Customer failed to follow Easyshelf's oral or written instructions as to the storage, commissioning, installation, use and maintenance of the Goods in respect of which it is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that it is in receipt on delivery or otherwise or (if there are none) good trade practise regarding the same;

1.4.3 the defect arises as a result of Easyshelf following any drawing, design or Specification supplied by the Customer;

1.4.4 the Customer alters or repairs such Goods without the prior written consent of Easyshelf;

1.4.5 the defect arises as a result of fair wear and tear wilful damage, negligence, or abnormal storage or working conditions; or

1.4.6 the Goods differ from their description or any applicable Specification as a result of changes made to ensure they comply with applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.

1.5 Except as provided in this condition 1, Easyshelf shall have no liability to the Customer in respect of the Goods' failure to comply with the warranty set out in condition 1.1.

1.6 The terms implied by sections 13 to 15 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the Contract.

1.7 These Conditions shall apply to any repaired or replacement Goods supplied by Easyshelf.

1.8 Easyshelf may but shall be under no obligation to pass to the Customer the benefit of any manufacturer's guarantee and shall have no liability should it elect not to do so.

Our Warranty

Our standard warranty offered on our products is 1 year. This applies to all appliances (GB Mainland only) unless advertised otherwise. In many cases we do offer longer warranties, this is indicated against our products online and in our catalogues.

When arranging a repair, for large items, this typically takes place at your premises whereas for smaller items we will collect and repair at our workshop. Whatever the arrangements, we are committed to resolving the problem quickly and efficiently and getting you back up and running as fast as possible. All our engineers are fully qualified and trained to deliver high-quality repairs on all our products.

Out of Warranty Repairs

If the warranty on your appliance has expired, don’t worry, we’ll be happy to quote you for a repair. Our prices are highly competitive and you can be assured you’ll get a full briefing of the work carried out as well as a quality repair of course.
